INVESTING IN AGRICULTURE AND SAFE OPEN SPACES
Maria believes it is time to close the rural-urban divide.
The success of St. Louis County is connected to the success of Missouri's farming communities. Farmers depend on strong markets and transportation networks, while urban communities depend on farmers for food production, economic stability, and supply chain resilience. We are stronger when we work together and invest in one another.
At the same time, Maria understands the connection between healthy communities and healthy environments.
Throughout District 1 and neighboring communities, residents have raised concerns about illegal dumping, blight, and neglected open spaces. Maria has spent countless volunteer hours participating in neighborhood cleanups and community improvement efforts because she believes every family deserves clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces.
As a public servant, Maria has consistently supported environmental stewardship and responsible land-use policies. She believes local government should protect parks, preserve open spaces, support native species, and invest in community beautification projects that improve quality of life for residents.
Maria's vision is simple:
Support family farms and rural communities.
Expand broadband, healthcare, and educational opportunities.
Strengthen local economies and workforce development.
Protect parks, green spaces, and native habitats.
Eliminate illegal dumping and neighborhood blight.
Build stronger connections between rural and urban communities.
Because when Missouri's communities succeed together, everyone benefits.
