She will openly tell you how it has benefited her life and what challenges she faces due to Republican efforts to dismantle this necessary federal health insurance program. When on the County Council, Maria will work to fill in the gap as Medicaid and ACA users seek healthcare. And, Maria has a plan.
As the Director of Boards and Commissions in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Maria helped pass the MO Senior Rx Generic Drug Rebate and she's ready to continue the fight to ensure all St. Louisans receive the medical care they need, along with housing, transportation and food security.
All St. Louisans need access to comprehensive healthcare and healthcare options that provide physical, dental and mental health services. Maria will fight make these services available in St. Louis County.
